Our first event held down by the river in Mandurah was a massive success.
We ended up having eight competitors from all different backgrounds, with different cars battling it out and racing for the first win.
I was unfortunate to come out in the first place, I did, however, manage to finish third, which I am still very happy about.
It is proven that my practice in the offseason, with the modifications made to my car recently proved to be worth it.
With the support of local sponsors for the event we had a significant amount of funding for marketing, advertising and organisation to set the event up bigger and better than we’ve ever had previously.
Again we would like to thank Automotive Service Mandurah, hobby shop Mandurah and Mandurah Trusty towing. Race format worked really well with the taking turns method.
This is the standard format; though we made some modifications to the order of the events and to the overall formats fly out.
The Winner receive 24 points to the championship 22 points plus for second, and I received 20 in third.
With nine events remaining, we all look forward to getting back out there and racing again. The next event will be held this weekend 4th of July down In Fremantle .
