I started my 1st Fubar build in Sept of 2008. It has gone from the Fubar Skeeter to the Skooter. Now for another Prototype chassis with a 1 off skid plate for me.

I have picked up a few sponsors through out the years and trying to rep them the best I can and by going to big events has hooked me up with some really cool vendors that I have been buying product from and sending business their way.

My original build: http://www.rccrawler.com/forum/showthread.php?t=134598

Specs:

Prototype Fubar Chassis
T1E Bent Lower Delrin links (modded by MTHead)
Maxamps 2000 mah 3c
Castle creations mamba maxx
Berg axles
Holmes Hobbies 35t motor
Fubar Lockouts
Super Dave 300m CVD's
Super Dave 300m Wheel nuts
Punk Rc Dig Controller
Castle BEC
Losi Shocks
Hitec hs 7950th
Vanquish Dirty Harry's Pro comps
Hot Bodies white dot Rover's
Vanquish High Steer berg Knuckles
Fubar OTA servo mount and steering link
Nomadio Sensor radio
Robinson Racing 12t and 13t pinion
Body is being painted By Brian Bodies for the rebuild.

I will be trying to retain most of my Rock smith Ti Links or order new ones.

During the rebuild every thing will be Cleaned and Lubed using Cow R/C Products.

As it sat before the rebuild.

Lookin good Cory!

I'm guessing you'll have it all back together for the Goldendale event, right?

Last night I broke in my 300m cvd's in my drill press and started to disassemble the front end for the new cvd's and Vanquish Knuckles.

As soon as I put my berg on my Cow r/c Mat it spilled the guts out of the front axle.

Image

Have the long side of the 300m cvd's and Vanquish Knuckle and 300m Hex.

Image

Both sides done and my ota steering link hooked back up.

Image

After our local comp tomorrow I will start the chassis swap.

Here is the Custom 1 off skid that I had made for my rig. Plus you can see the work that was done too the T1E links.

Well with our comp finished and some family time done the last 2 days got to do some work on this and get it ready for the TCS Goldendale qualifier.

I had to find my wheel base jig so I could set up the chassis. Will have to make a few adjustments after I take it out of the jig for the new push down rule.

Stripped the scooter chassis off of my berg.

Got the T1E rear links installed and mocked up the shocks.

Picture of my one off skid plate with links hooked up.

I got it in to roller form tonight. My aluminum tech stick says dead on 12.5 but I know not every tech stick is dead on or made the same. So I'm going to shave my rear links 1/8th of a inch so I have room for tech sticks out of whack.

Some have asked about my belly heights so I thought I would post up some with a tape measure next to the chassis.

At the front 2 7/8"
At the back 3 1/4"
At the arch of the link 3 5/8

Sorry guys I let this die out while I finished it on friday for the nw qualifier in goldendale on friday.

I tested it on Saturday might have been a fluke but I broke it after falling about 8 ft off a rock.

I have been talking with John since it broke on Saturday and might be that custom skid plate putting to much stress on the chassis.

Image

Shitty thing I had to limp it through the last 3 courses.

Cory, at least you had a good excuse for the scores on your runs!
I sucked and the rig had no mechanical issues, it was ALL driver errors!

That looks exactly like what happened to me last season in Rimrock with a delrin CDW 1.0 chassis...

John sent me a replacement side got it in time for our comp today. It survived today.

On my way home from the comp stopped and dropped my rig off at one of my club members house AKA (jeeper_05) for some machine work. I left the rig there with in 30 mins had picture in a text from him with this done already.

Updates for tonight came in. Should be ready to be picked up in a couple days.

Yes my old servo horn went through some abuse. Have a new one ready for it. Plus the front screw is going bye.

Image

I have had these for awhile just never installed them (jeeper_05) machined the rear axle for them.

I pick up my rig tonight from Jeeper_05. I got to work getting the steering reset up using my original Fubar Crawlers OTA steering link Just replaced the ends to T-maxx ends and bent it a little more.

Now to try to clean up the wiring and go through the rest to get it ready for Nats.
